“ I would like to give six stars, if possible! The best reason to visit Düsseldorf is this amazing Michelinstar restaurant. Yoshizumi NAGAYA is the creator of the best Japanese food I have ever eaten. Dinner at his restaurant, were he works together with his amazing wife and very professional sommelier, made our taste buds explode in firework of pleasure! Each bite was full of surprises and amazing combination s. And most of all - the quality! The quality of the fish or wagyu meat was the top - it just melted in the mouth . I'm still remembering that experience! Amazing! Highly recommend to all looking for the best quality, serviss and willing to experience the best Japanese food in Düsseldorf or even - all Europe It is not food - it's a peace of art! Yes, it's definitely rather expensive, but it is worth every cent spent. ”
“ Very creative and excellent kitchen. Lunch menu at very fair value. Wine is good, but pricey. Service perfect. ”
“ We had a great night at Nagaya! It has the service and experience level you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The dishes had really high quality and are very interesting combinations of typical Japanese ingredients. The yuzu desert was out of this world, never had a tastier dessert! If you are into Japanese cuisine, like next level dining.. I would recommend you to go here! Compared to other 1 star restaurants, the prices for the full omakase menu are bit expensive.. however the quality of the ingredients is really high so therefore worth it. Overal 5 stars! Staff was really friendly, good timing between dishes and outstanding food, perfect plating. ”
“ The restaurant offers top service and food, with impeccable presentation. For a restaurant of this level I wish the interior had a bit more character. You will love the t, but do not go in a hurry. ”
“ Exceptional food, good atmosphere and a good service. During lunch there’s usually a lunch menu instead of à la carte- but it’s not a bad deal. We chose a 6 course meal instead of 3 because the price difference between the two options was just about 12 euros - but please keep in mind, drinks add on quite a lot to the bill . Absolutely no complaints about wine though!! Worth every penny!! It’s a Michelin Star for a reason! Worth a visit ”
“ I loved it. Fantastic food and great ambience. The 6 course meal was a delight. Especially the sushi (tuna belly). Make no mistake, it’ll cost a pretty penny, but worth it for a special family function or business dinner. Happy to return. ”
“ Excellent omakase experience. Apart from the classics like nigiris and sashimi, they got some amazing starters which sometimes isn't the case in other fancy japanese restaurants. Overall a great menu, getting the Wagyu is totally worth it. Nice ambient and the service is very attentive. The only con is that they were a bit short on personnel when we were there, so the dinner took a pretty long time. ”
“ An amazing omakase menu with a variety of dishes. Everything was tasty - exceptional flavours, and courses that are playful while respecting the core ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, genuinely caring about me having a good time. You can also see the head chef throughout the dinner, who makes a lot of effort in his work and looking after the customers. ”
